Not Resolutions, But Goals for 2012

Every year, like thousands of other well-intentioned people, I make a list of things I resolve to accomplish in the upcoming year. And like thousands of other well-intentioned people, I fall short on more than a few. Since this is a milestone year for me, I decided to take a slightly different approach. First, I took some time to really think about what I wanted to do, besides the typical lose weight and save money. I am striving to be a better person overall, and I think the goals I have set forth will help me get and remain on that path.

My 2012 Goals:
1) Get engaged (I know this is slightly out of my control, but I have faith)
2) Get married
3) Eat healthier (drink more water and less soda)
4) Do some sort of physical activity at least 3 times a week
5) Join The Woodlands Church (Jan. 22)
6) Volunteer at church or join a ministry team
7) Participate in a 5k walk/run every quarter (4 per year)
8) Paint the kitchen and guest bathroom
9) Purchase a new livingroom set
10) Meet my girlfriends for brunch/lunch/dinner at least once every quarter
11) Take my vitamins daily
12) Show Carl, Jas, Derrick, and my mom that I love them and genuinely care about them.

I will report back regularly :-).
